- We are creating a design to make the Doritos container more efficient to contain 20 chips with minimal extra space.
- We have estimated every chip will take approximately 1/4inch of the container and each side of the chip will be between 2.5 and 3 inches long making the chip an equilateral triangle with 3, 60 degree angles.
- The container will be a prism similar to the design of a Pringles can but it will be triangular.
- Each side of the base shape will be 3 inches, creating an equilateral triangle matching the shape of the chip. The height of the container will be seven inches as 20 (chips) multiplied by 1/4inch will equal 7 inches
- The surface area of the design is 70.8 inches squared and the volume is 27.3 inches cubed
